NYSSPE LI Chapter – November Seminar

The NYSSPE LI Chapter would like to continue offering the monthly PDH Seminars. On Wednesday December 17,  NSSYPE’s very own Marc Krieg, PE  will be providing an in-person seminar to discuss the: Ethics of Artificial Intelligence.  This is a great chance to reconnect with like-minded engineers and learn about the ethics related to our ever changing industry technologies.

Seminar Summary:

The seminar will offer two PDH credits for a two (2) hour presentation summarized below:

Recent advances in technology have upended the ethical conduct of engineers in surprising ways. Pejorative expressions such as tattletale, snitch and whistleblower are repudiated by NSPE in evaluating conduct in ways dealing with Artificial Intelligence, future success of a project, and use of renewable energy sources. Design Professionals beware.

Who: Seminar is open to NYSSPE members and non-members

Speaker Bios:

Marc Krieg worked as an engineer in aerospace tasks, high rise residential towers, and fuel flow transducers for 7 years. He has a BME, an MME, and a JD.  He is admitted to the NY Bar, the Patent Bar, and he is a PE. For over 50 years he has exclusively devoted his law practice to the defense of design professionals in areas of civil, criminal, and professional discipline arenas.
